Marie-Josée Berthiaume

Located in a small village, north of the river in the Montérégie region. Berthiaume sees heaven, water, life flowing like a movement in the glass. All of these things go hand in hand for her.

The more she creates with the glass, the more it fascinates her. It allows her to explore, to hesitate, to try. Berthiaume likes the intensity of its colours, its textures, the fragility of the material, as well as its strength, its aplomb, its movement.

She likes to create characters, wacky, joyful and fun, like a story she tells herself and that always ends well.
