Normand exhibited more and more in shopping centers and at various events and became known to the public through radio, television, and newspapers. From 1972 to 1974, he produced a series of painting lessons for a local television network.

At the start of the 1980s, he was increasingly called upon by organizations in the region to chair cultural events. Exhibitions are multiplying at an alarming rate, the climax of which is undoubtedly the launch, at the Shawinigan Cultural Center, of his book “Normand Boisvert, A Painter in Mauricie: Paintings of the Artist” (1980) , accompanied by a solo exhibition.
