The atmospheres have the flamboyance of the medieval courts of love and the sumptuousness of the sympathetic Renaissance narcissism: the rich fabrics and the majestic velvets drape the elegant characters to the candid, mocking or maddened faces, human or animal, transparent or masked. It is the debauchery of colors and lines undulating to the liking of the attitudes and the supple steps.

The artist suggests to any observer of his work to let his imagination and his interpretation go according to his own because Richard Hétu considers that he would have reached his goal if one of his works only served to trigger the mechanisms of the dream.
